Today is a fine indication that Spring is upon us here in Los Angeles! It's a gorgeous sunny day with a slight nip in the air. The rain did a decent job of cleaning this dirty little metropolis, during our brief Winter (can you really call it Winter?).
Now, it's on to the warmer days of Spring and a hot, sunny California summer. There's not much bad to say about LA, really. With the exception of the few days of rain this past month, we really started enjoying "t-shirt" weather at the start of March. Now, we can expect very little if no rain for the next 6-8 months, which, frankly, is the one thing I HATE about Los Angeles. A little rain now and then is good for us all - but I ain't complaining. Born and raised in New England, I adapted very quickly to this wonderful climate back in the 90s. Yes, now and then I miss the snow-covered homes and smoking chimneys, but they look just as good in pictures and on TV.
For me, it's Sunset Boulevard, baby! We've got the mountains and the beaches. We've got West Hollywood, Larchmont Village & Studio City. Downtown dining, Miracle Mile & The Grove, and the beaches from Malibu to Long Beach and beyond. Randy Newman got it right... "I LOVE LA!!!"
